NASCAR heads back under the lights of Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday night for the Sharpie 500.

The Sprint Cup Series drove through Bristol back in March when Jeff Burton recorded his lone win of the season in the Food City 500. Points leader Kyle Busch finished well back in that race in 17th position.

Busch saw his lead in the driver standings fall slightly last week after Carl Edwards captured the checkered flag in the 3M Performance 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Edwards wasn't able to make up very much ground though, as Busch finished right behind him in second place. Busch currently has a 222-point cushion on Edwards and he's the favorite in Saturday night's race at at 5/1. Busch may have struggled to a 17th place finish at Bristol earlier this season, but he does have a win at Bristol on his record in the 2007 Food City 500. Edwards follows Busch on the odds list at 9/2 and he also has one win to his name at Bristol, which he got in last year's Sharpie 500.

The co-leaders in career wins at Bristol are much higher on the odds list after struggling for most of the season - both Jeff Gordon and Kurt Busch have five career wins at Bristol. Gordon's last win at Bristol came in 2002 and he's gone winless on the season so far, but he's still in running for The Chase with eight Top-10 finishes. Kurt Busch last won at Bristol in 2006, but with only one win so far this season and only four other Top-10 finishes he's well back of the Chase cutoff line and may not have enough time to catch up. On the odds Gordon is a 12/1 underdog, while Kurt Busch checks in at 15/1.
